Everything on this property Solar and off-Grid! Each cabin has it own solar system there is enough power to run all you need, light, fans, USB charging port. Tamarack and Poplar have larger solar system with minifridges, and TV's. There is  no running water in the cabins, We provide portable water in blue jugs, • Washroom facilities are rustic, Every site has it own outhouse. Don’t let the out house scare you, this cleaned after each guest. Don’t let the no running water fool you, everything is set up to perfectly, you never feel like you’ve gone without! Private fire pit area at each camp site.

There is a sign up sheet by the shower to book your private sauna time.

-it’s wood-fired and takes about 30 minutes to get to temperature

-50c-70c is Optimal sauna temperature.

-The ashtray at the bottom of the stove is the flu.

-The door of the stove has to be closed to operate.

-you can overheat the sauna, so if it gets too warm close the flu, or open the door.

Pool Rules

-Do not go into the area were the plants are growing. This is area with the rope fences called the regeneration zone. (It disturbs the growth, and there are pipe, under the plants filtering the water.) don’t climb over the wall from the inside of the pool.

-Pool is not supervised, Swim at your own Risk

-Enter form the Dock or stepping stone area.

-Pool has a plastic liner so don’t throw rock or sand in.

-If you have lotion on please rinse off before enter the water.

-No glass in the pool area.

-kids need to be supervised at all time.

We have tipis on the property that are for all the quests to enjoy. They are painted by Indigenous artisans at Assiniboine Tipis Lundar Manitoba. Our New tipis in spring of 2024 Bushland Spirits 18 feet tipi with deer painting & Sandhill 14 foot tipi red strip and sun.  Inside the tipi you will find cushions, chairs, hammock, sit down on or ask us about have a camp fire. You will also find indigenous earing and art for sale in your cabin (all sale income goes to artisans) We acknowledge that we are in Treaty 1 territory and that the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Anishinabewaki, Métis and Očeti Šakówiŋ people.

Yes we have one pet friendly cabin Tamarack Shack. We love dogs and know how hard it is to find a place that allows them to come on vacation with you! Potty trained, well behaved, dogs of any size are welcome! Dogs cannot be left in the cabin unattended. Pets are not allowed in the pool. 2 pet max pluse pet fee

Each cabin has it own private fire pit, and grill. You can by fire pit wood on site. Its only $20 a wagon. We  are located in an area that sometimes has forest fires and fire restrictions. If there is a fire ban in place we will notify you and signs will be put up in cabins.

Yes Parents are responsible at all times for their children’s safety and behavior. The pool is unsupervised parents must be with in arms reach of there children at all time while by the organic pool and saunas. We provide lots of outside equipment like soccer, badminton, tetherball etc. please clean up after using equipment. Children are not allowed to be unsupervised at any time inside your Cabin. 

The cabin has a Propane Cookstove, BBQ, pots, pans, knife, etc. and we supply all linens and towels, so really there’s not much you need to bring other than your food and clothing for your stay.

No. Cellular reception is good in the area. You should have not problem text, calling or streaming data, but on this property you'll be reminded of the simplicity of life, and the stillness of nature. So hopefully you will want to disconnect of a bit.

There is 2 night min Stay or 3 night min stay on long weekends. Cabin prices is $145 to $160 per night. Prices shown are for 2 guests.  Additional guests are an extra $25 per night.
